I have compiled a longer than needed list of music to serve as the base for us to build the concert on. Last week (the pianist) Joann and I met to begin going over the music. Of course, we have a long way to go before we are ready but it was a nice introduction and I’m excited about it! Stay tuned. D.F.
I have made several posts here and realized that I have left very little room for you to post comments! I’m very sorry for this! I am still quite new to blogging. If you have any thoughts, ideas or other feedback you wish to offer, I’d truly love to hear from you! Please add your comments to this post! I’d also like to let you know that the site has had some good traffic so far and our Facebook page, Tenor Daniel Foran is increasing the number of likes!
I spoke with our lovely, wonderful pianist, Joann, this evening and I am very excited about the concert. I think we will work very nicely together and have a tremendous deal of fun doing so! We have finally managed to begin the repertoire for the concert and we both know what we will need to work on for each other. I sure hope you are able to make it to the concert, if for nothing else, to support a well attended performance. The price will be a great bargain! The rest of the details will take some time but I’ll be sure to keep you posted, as promised! D.F.
This weekend has been so busy already and it will only continue to be so. I will be helping my brother record several performances (a variety of genres) before getting a little bit of down time late Sunday! We continue to have remarkable feedback on both the site here and our page on Facebook which has been wonderful. Thank-you, again, to everyone who has helped support both! I hope to have the content of our late-year fund raiser shored up soon, within the next week. When that happens, we’ll be able to focus on a date for the event. Please continue to check in here for the latest. If you’re not able to get here that often, or you forget about me once in a while (it’s ok, you’re only human!), just remember to sign up for our free informative newsletter on the contact page! You will receive an email letting you know all the latest.
It feels like summer has arrived here, in the North East! Things are moving forward with the fall/winter fund raising concert. I am most certain that our pianist will be Joanne DeGiulio, http://www.jdpianolessons.com. I am thrilled to have her for the event for several reasons: she is a fellow parishioner, she is a fellow MSM alumni and she is a very nice woman. collaborating with such talent is always fun and exciting! I hope you are able to go to her site to find out more about her! D.F.
The “Tenor Daniel Foran” page is now ready and running on Facebook. If you haven’t yet, please make a quick visit and click the “like” button on the page now. It’s fast, free and increasingly exciting to do. 😉 Many thanks! D.F.
I spent much of the day today setting up and organizing the “Tenor Daniel Foran” page on Facebook today! If you have not seen it, please visit and while you’re there, click on the “like” button. There might be a few opportunities in need of fixing but I think the page looks pretty good, not as good as danielforan.com, but pretty good! It is exciting to have it and I am attempting to generate as much interest as possible in the page. We’ve had a good response so far and I know the responses will continue. Thank-you to everyone who has visited and commented on danielforan.com! Your thoughts, compliments and good will have strongly encouraged me going forward! D.F.
